Profeta Farms Market Project | Flemington, NJ

The Profeta Farms Market Project is a unique 19,000 square foot organic farm market and was developed using various commercial kitchen design and restaurant kitchen design approaches. These various design strategies were employed due to their specialized concept of providing grocery and prepared food items, whose ingredients are grown and fabricated completely on the farm property. Our contract expanded beyond the design process to included the supply and install of all foodservice equipment, walk-in and retail refrigeration systems totaling over 3,000 square feet, as well as complex exhaust systems comprised of multiple cooking locations throughout the building.

Mise Designs design scope was to develop all aspects relating to the primary commercial kitchen and bakery, meat fabrication and charcuterie kitchen, as well as all refrigerated storage facilities located in the lower level of the building. Other design parameters for the Profeta Farms Market Project included the foodservice retail components on the main floor market which included pizza and prepared foods areas, a coffee and ice cream shop, meat, seafood, deli, charcuterie and bakery retail areas.
