Palace Royal Restaurant Project | Philadelphia, PA

The Palace Royal Restaurant Project came to Mise Designs while they were in the midst of relocating their operation to a larger venue. We were tasked with the challenge of completely redesigning their new facility that was originally designed by another firm, but unfortunately did not meet their operating requirements.

The most unique aspect of the Palace Royal Restaurant Project was the requirement of 2 identical restaurant kitchens; 1 designated Kosher and the other non-Kosher. Each kitchen was to be situated side by side with both having the ability to service 200 guests and the elaborate food displays which would meet and exceed the high expectations of the Palace Royal Restaurant clientele.

Clearly, the greatest construction challenge with this project was keeping the ownership’s capital investment in check. Having the requirement of 2 fully functional kitchens, the major design considerations were to ensure we had the ability to share as much of the plumbing and mechanical system connections as possible.
