Kampala Uganda Hilton Hotel Kitchen Design

Kampala Uganda Hilton hotel kitchen design project was a 3,000 square meter project where Mise Designs provided complete design and development services for both the food service and laundry areas. Although we worked remotely, we worked closely with a design team comprised of professionals from several countries in Africa, The United Arab Emirates, India, The United States and China. Scope included conceptual and schematic hotel kitchen design, design development, bid specifications, supply contract negotiations and logistics services for installation.

The Hilton hotel kitchen design parameters for this project were primarily based on geography since vehicle travel to the nearest port is approximately 6 hours away. Storage facilities were required to accommodate 30 days of food supplies as well as complete meat, fish and full service bakery fabrication areas. Equipment manufacturer selections were critical to the success of this project so as to ensure service capabilities for the region.
