CTCA Hospital Commercial Kitchen Design
Cancer Treatment Centers of America Hospital commercial kitchen design project owners have repeatedly contracted Mise Design Group since 2011. These contracts are to develop comprehensive foodservice construction plans for their ever expanding commercial kitchen design and open market retail outlets. Having a combined 4,000 square feet of preparation, service and customer viewable live cooking retail areas; this project serves approximately 1,000 meals per day to patients, staff and visitors, 3 times per day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Recent renovations have included the design of a bakery and pâtisserie kitchen, a saucier kitchen and an expansion of their open kitchen retail market. The key challenge with a project of this type is to develop a comprehensive plan with the architectural and construction teams which will allow the various kitchen areas to operate at capacity during renovations while maintaining the quality and service standards for the employees, patients and visitors to the foodservice department.
