Crossbar Tavern Project | Havertown, PA

The Crossbar Tavern Project is a neighborhood sports pub concept created by two brothers, whose vision was to build a “local watering hole” in their hometown. This very small local tavern was a complete renovation from a construction standpoint. The entire interior of the building was demolished to remove the antiquated plumbing and electrical systems that were in place since the building was originally constructed.

The design parameters for the Crossbar Tavern Project was to create a large bar area where patrons could view a multitude of televised sporting events and indulge on a limited menu offering of high-quality pub type fare. The major design considerations for this project was the building’s very narrow footprint and limited kitchen space on the first floor.
